This WebApp illustrates how the system discretization process works. It show the path of a signal going out of a computer and coming back in after passing through a plant. In this path it undergoes the conversion from digital to analog and analog to digital using the ZOH and FOH methods.
Use the slider to control the discretization period. You can click "step" or "play" to animate the discretization in time. Follow the plots to see the evolution. The switches illustrates the moment where each conversion is made.
